PORT HOPE, ON (March 28, 2022) – In compliance with the Public Sector Salary Disclosure Act 1996 (PSSDA), the Haliburton, Kawartha Pine Ridge District Health Unit (HKPRDHU) is required to publish the name, position, salary and total taxable benefits of employees paid $100,000 or more in the previous calendar year. Salary can include regular wages, overtime, and retroactive payments from prior years.

PORT HOPE, ON (February 24, 2022) – The Haliburton, Kawartha, Pine Ridge District Health Unit (HKPRDHU) will be opening COVID-19 vaccination clinics at the offices in Lindsay and Port Hope as the mass immunization clinics in Cobourg and Lindsay end this week to ensure residents still have access.

PORT HOPE, ON (February 23, 2022) - Never use alone. That simple, potentially life-saving reminder is being shared by the Haliburton, Kawartha, Pine Ridge District Health Unit in the wake of separate overdose incidents over the past week in the City of Kawartha Lakes. While these overdose incidents are unrelated, factors that may have contributed include a potent drug supply and using alone.  

PORT HOPE, ON (February 16, 2022) - With the majority of eligible residents in the region having already received their booster dose, the Haliburton, Kawartha, Pine Ridge District Health Unit (HKPRDHU) will be closing its mass immunization clinics located at the Lindsay Exhibition (LEX) on February 25 and at the Cobourg Community Centre (CCC) on February 26.

PORT HOPE, ON (January 26, 2022) - Walk-ins for getting COVID-19 vaccines are now open to anyone age five years and older who is eligible for a first, second or booster dose.
