Addressing Food Insecurity and Poverty

Every year, the HKPR District Health Unit publishes a food insecurity report that highlights the struggles faced by low-income families to pay for basic necessities, such as housing and food, because incomes and social assistance rates are not keeping up with rising costs.

Ontario Student Drug Use and Health Survey Summaries (2017)

The Ontario Student Drug Use and Health Survey (OSDUHS) is a population survey of Ontario students in Grades 7 through 12. This self-administered, anonymous survey is conducted across the province every two years with the purpose of identifying epidemiological trends in student drug use, mental health, physical activity, and risk behaviour, as well as identifying risk and protective factors.

Situational Assessment of the Four Pillar Approach to Addressing the Drug Poisoning Crisis in the County of Haliburton, City of Kawartha Lakes and Northumberland County

This report was published by the HKLN Drug Strategy Network, in partnership with the HKPR District Health Unit.
