Sexual Health Clinics
The Health Unit provides free Sexual Health Services in the City of Kawartha Lakes, County of Haliburton and Northumberland County. Access free condoms, low-cost birth control and STI testing and assessments, and vaccinations through the Health Unit's Sexual Health Services program.
Appointments are required, as walk-ins are not currently available.

Mpox - is a virus caused by the Monkeypox virus (MPXV), typically transmitted from animals to humans, that causes a disease with symptoms similar to, but less severe than, smallpox.
PFLAG Canada – Organization offers peer-to-peer support to help all Canadians dealing with issues of sexual orientation, gender identity and gender expression. A listing of local PFLAG Chapters is also available.
Rainbow Health Ontario – A listing of LGBTQ2+ friendly health and social service providers in Ontario.
Rainbow Youth – PARN – Program works to make LGBTQ2+ youth feel safe, included, and empowered in Haliburton, Northumberland, Kawartha Lakes and Peterborough.
