Our team of Dental Health professionals understand that maintaining optimal dental health is a vital aspect of overall well-being as we age. The new Ontario Seniors Dental Care Program provides free, routine dental services for low-income seniors who are 65 years of age or older.

HKPR District Health Unit Dental Hygienists and Dental Assistants visit elementary schools every year to provide free oral health screenings to students in kindergarten and grade two. At some schools, we may also screen students in other grades.

The federal government has launched the Canadian Dental Care Plan (CDCP). This new dental benefit program will help eligible Canadians access oral health care services.
